About the Chef

Meet your paella chef, Israel Matos. Israel was Born in Cuba and moved to Spain at a young age. While in Spain, he developed a passion for their incredible cuisine. After spending several years and starting a family in Spain, Israel came to Miami to reunite with his family. He began making paellas for family gatherings to make sure they always had a taste of Spain. After several paella parties, people started to ask for paellas for their parties too! And so began Madrid Paellas. We hope you enjoy our Paellas as much as we enjoy making them for you.
